Effie E. Flora was the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Michael) Browser. She was born 17 aprilo 18871 at Flora and married in 1891 to Frank Flora. Survivors are her husband and five children: Vaughn R. Flora of Indianapolis; Robert and Ralph, the latter in the Navy; Mrs. Fern Young of St. Petersburg, Fla and Mrs. Frank E. Davidson of Gary. Also two brothers, William Bowser of Indianapolis and russell Bowser of Bradenton, Fla and sister Mrs. Grace Robler of Lafayette. Services at Crumley Chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington. -

Flora, Oct 22 – Mrs. Effie (Bowser) Flora, 75 of Covington, former resident of Flora, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth hospital, Danville, Ill. Born in Flora, she lived here for many years after her marriage to Frank Flora. Surviving are the following children: Von Flora, Indianapolis; Mrs. Fern Young, Florida; Robert and Ralph Flora, Covington and Mrs. Mildred Davis, Gary; one brother, Russell Bowser, Indianapolis and one sister, Mrs. John Robyler, Lafayette.
